The masculine and feminine are creative elements caught in an epic dance through the cosmos and through each one of us. Their communion rings across the worlds and mends our hearts. While their divorce divides us from each other and ourself.
So often we meet things on one side of the aisle. As if both sides aren’t necessary elements serving the whole.
As if one side's pull isn’t serving the other's push.
That balance can have a chance to bloom.
In another post I spoke of the man without the woman through the lens of divine functions. Now let’s explore the woman without the man.
The collective woman is conditioned to both be ashamed and seek out her position behind a man. In her shame, she’s conditioned to push against and be the one to shine in the man’s place.
In her seeking, she submits.
Herself, her vision, her vibrancy. As she slowly drains of life, love, and her own inner fire.
Returning to the divine functions.
The first feminine function lives within and behind the rays of the first masculine function. She lives there not in defeat, but in her own potency. She is the Void from which all extends and to which all return.
She is the closest function to Source. She is the holder of the divine origin and potential. Informing her beloved masculine function, giving her beloved’s outward force purpose and direction.
It’s from the vision of potential alive within the feminine function that existence is masterfully organized, ordained and presided over by the masculine function. The Father God in his many guises.
When God the father seeks council, it’s to the Void that he turns. The Void that is his betrothed and beloved.
The collective woman seeks to be the Sun. Because she has forgotten that she is the force from which the Sun shines, and the object the Sun shines in longing to reveal the depthless, fathomless, eternal extent of.
We each carry these polarities within us. The reunion and mending of the fractures is most easily digested through the guise of man and woman. Though we’re here to go deeper. I invite you into reflection around the part of you that visions and the part of you that acts on that information. The divine dance of communion and divorce. Of darkness and illumination and the revelations born forth from them. It will always and has always begun within.
In invitation,
Auralia
